Bring Teams Closer into Your CRM
If you’ve been following our blogs, you already know of Q!365’s compatibility creation of Teams Meetings. This includes Embedded Teams Chat as well as managing MS Teams Shared Channels from within Salesforce. Today, we’d like to present a new component that focuses on viewing availability and the ability to connect with contacts and leads.
Everything from within Salesforce itself as solution that works on both your desktop Teams client as well as the Teams mobile app.
All relevant info can now be displayed and easily accessed, allowing for a fast and easy way for communication within your contacts. Whether it’s just a quick checkup if somebody is online, away or busy, or immediately start a meeting or call with them.
(Video) Calling Teams and Mobile Phones
You see immediately within the native Salesforce UI within your contacts if the person you’re looking to talk to is available (and what, for example, their status is set to). Additionally, you can immediately make use of the opportunity to Click-To-Dial call them. Whether that’s on a landline, their mobile phone or a video call, the options are right next to the availability, as pictured above.
In the case the person you want to call not a Microsoft 365 user, the information will also change. You’ll see that their availability can’t be shown due to them not using Teams. If you do have at least one of their numbers, you can still try to call them from within Salesforce.
Now, of course there is the matter of privacy and security. If any given user does not want to be viewed on whether they’re available, busy or offline, the admin can block the status visibility.
Given these tools, you can avoid losing precious time checking calendars, making futile calls because the person is busy, and more. Save yourself and others time and effort by relying on Q!365 and use the new Click-To-Dial functions to view availability in a new light.
Empowering the Mobile Salesforce app
Furthermore, this also applies to your mobile version of Salesforce. This ensures you can easily access and reach all your contacts, leads, etc. from within the Salesforce app itself, using the Teams app for calling.

With this, we’re bridging Salesforce and Teams even more, enabling features within your CRM. The goal is to ensure that you easily see if somebody is available. (if Teams is used and the information is exposed) This allows you to optimize your next action by contacting them on phone or video with one click.
All of these features are part of the standard license and are included in your Q!365 license.
